Principle
Magnetic Level Gauge employ two
elementary principles.
- Archimedes Principle according to
which a body immersed in a liquid
receives buoyancy equal to the weight of
displaced liquid.
- Principle of attraction among
dissimilar poles of permanent magnets
and that of repulsion between like
poles.
A float-containing magnet follows liquid
level in the liquid chamber, which
corresponds, to the level in the
tank.Position of the float inside the
chamber is indicated outside by bicoloured
flapper embedded with magnet by 180°
rotation and setting
